My journey in the world of dance began at the tender age of 3, when I took my first steps onto the dance floor at Shirley Halliday Dance Academy. Fast forward to today, 46 years later and dance remains not Just a passion but a defining aspect of my life. I delved deep into the world of ballet, undertaking full-time studies at the Terry Charlesworth School of Ballet, while navigating my high school years at Iona Presentation College and later transitioning to the Swanbourne SHS Full-Time Ballet Program.
When Shirley Halliday’s closed its doors, my dedication to dance led me to continue my training at Dance Arts and later at Gail Meade Performing Arts. It was on my 21st birthday that All Star Dance Studio opened its doors, marking the beginning of a remarkable 28-year journey that has seen it blossom into Perth’s beloved dance family. Throughout my dance career, I’ve achieved milestones such as completing all my CSTS Exams, including Stage exams, and proudly earning the prestigious Blue Sash Award, along with obtaining my Full Teacher’s certification.
From the age of 3, I’ve graced competition stages, excelling in Troupes, solos, duos, and trios, alongside a talented troupe team that consistently emerged victorious in competitions. Many of these exceptional dancers have since become cherished colleagues and teachers at All Star Dance Studio.
