Christie Blizzard

Christie Blizzard began performing at the age of 2. Before she’d finished primary school, Christie was working as a professional performer fulltime, learning school via correspondence with a tutor on set.

Landing the role of Cosette in the Australian Tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables was just the start of Christie’s career. Working alongside Greta Scacchi in A Doll’s House for the State Theatre Company and then subsequently as Sally in three seasons of Ship to Shore, Christie’s acting and performance credits were impressive. Earning many guest roles on our TV screens, Christie was cast in Bush Patrol, Clowning Around and has even appeared on the Neighbours set.

By the age of 15, Christie has played the role of Oliver in “Oliver”, was the lead in 3 of 4 one act plays for the Perth Art’s Festival and had worked with Hollywood greats like Heath Ledger, Bill Kerr, Vincent D'Onofrio and Greta.

Studying via correspondence didn’t hinder Christie’s drive for success and she graduated from Curtin University with a BA in English, a major in Media and Journalism. At the same time as she gained her degree, Christie ran her own dance studio THESTUDIO which provided entertainment to Perth’s nightclub scene. Working with Destiny’s Child, Boy George to name a few, Christie was either interviewing celebrities for her role as Entertainment Journalist or creating performances for their local appearances.

Christie continued her studies to become a qualified Interior Designer and combined her talents to be featured in many lifestyle shows as a Host and Celebrity Designer, including many charity projects within the Perth and wider community, whilst hosting a successful drive time radio show and recording voiceovers to some of your favourite commercials and jingles.

As a mother of two girls, Christie is eager to ensure students are nurtured, mentored and motivated to be their best. Christie is passionate about sharing her skills and experiences with students and opened The Production Academy, All Star’s Sister Studio in 2020 whilst continuing to be an integral part of the All Star Faculty.

Christie continues to do regular voiceover work and work within the industry, her most recent appearance being in “Claremont”, to be screened on Seven later this year. Having appeared on our screens since she was in primary school right through to recently, Christie’s face will certainly be familiar to you.
